The goal was simple with this product: we saw from a strategic angle that the refrigerated snack section was growing in a big way, and our company, Tyson Foods, had no product to play in that space.
Pact Snack Bites were a delicious and nutritious approach to functional nutrition. Chef-composed and nutritionist designed, each package contained specific ingredients meant to aid in your digestion, skin health, or focus. We launched this product on Indiegogo and later on a DTC site.
The persona of our consumer was looking for personalized nutrition, which made them feel empowered and knowledgeable. So these snacks had to reflect that visually. With an illustrator, I created 4 unique very large canvases, one from each flavor. Then using digital printing, we could randomly select a unique background for each package printed, so there was an element of surprise between each pouch design. The front panel I designed with clarity and rationality in mind.
